Q: What is an online auction?
A: Online auctions are held online instead of using an auctioneer. We hold the items in our warehouse where they can be inspected prior to bidding. You search for an item and if interested place a bid and try to win it. Auctions run for two weeks and begin ending Tuesday evenings at 7:00PM CST. Two to three items will end every minute. If someone bids on an item with less than two minutes remaining the end time for that particular item will extend an extra two minutes. This prevents sniping and gives bidders a more "live auction" experience. If you win an item it must be paid for and picked up within the time stated on your invoice. If you win an item or items an invoice will be sent to the email address on file.

Q: When can I inspect or preview items?
A: During regular business hours Tuesday through Firday 9AM-5PM and Saturday 9AM-1PM.

Q: When can I pick up my items?
A: During regular business hours on the days listed on your invoice.

Q: Do you have a buyers' premium?
A: Yes, we charge 13% for each lot with a 3% DISCOUNT if paid in cash. If paid in cash you will be charged a 10% buyer's premium.

Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Yes, we are required by the state of Minnesota to charge sales tax of 7.375% for each lot won. If you are a reseller with a valid tax ID then let us know and we will provide you with the proper form for exemption. The form must be signed to be valid.

Q: How long do I have to pay for my items?
A: All items must be paid for and picked up before close of business on the last day listed on your invoice. Any items left unpaid may be charged a $5 a week storage fee and/or bidding privileges may be revoked.

Q: Do you ship?
A: Yes, we are happy to ship items. Please call or email us after you have won the items and we will get you a quote. We charge a $5 packaging fee for most items. Freight items may be more.

Q: Can I pay with a check?
A: Unfortunately, we only accept cash, credit and debit cards. Postal money orders with prior approval from us will also be accepted. We do not accept American Express at this time.

Q: How does the auto extend feature work?
A: This feature closely emulates a "live" auction. It eliminates the ability to "snipe" bids. By extending the bidding for 2 minutes the buyer has another chance to place a higher bid.

Q: Why did my bid increase after I increased my max bid when I was already winning?
A: The current price is determined by adding a single increment to the best bid placed by another bidder.

If the best bid placed by another bidder is less than 1 increment away from the current price and the max bid is raised the price will be higher.

Q: How does the Max Bid feature work?
A: This allows the buyer to place their max bid without bidding the entire amount at one time.

Example. If an items next required bid is $10.00 and you are willing to pay $100.00, place the $100.00 bid in the "max bid" column. The software will place the next required bid on your behalf until your max is reached. Otherwise known as "proxy bidding" this method closely resembles the system ebay uses. This is very useful if you cannot watch the auction close or are bidding on multiple items. If no other bids are placed you will win the item for $10.00. If someone bids $100.01 you will be outbid.
